Frequently asked questions

How does the extraction work?
We use advanced models to run multimodal extraction on your uploaded files. It parses the document layout, reads the text, and maps it strictly to our menu schema.
What file formats does it support?
We support photos (.jpg, .png, .heic, .webp), documents (.pdf, .docx), and plain text (.txt, .csv) up to 20MB per file.
How do translations work?
We use culinary-fluent translation models that process context—not just literal words. 'Plov' stays 'Plov' instead of becoming 'Rice dish'.
How do real-time updates work?
When you mark an item sold out from your dashboard or Kitchen Screen, it uses secure WebSockets to update any diner looking at the menu within 200ms. They don't have to refresh.
Are the QR codes static or dynamic?
They are dynamic! The QR code points to your permanent digital menu URL. You can reprint your QR code as many times as you like, or edit your menu 100 times a day—the QR code itself never changes.
